If a hospital cancels a shift that has been previously requested and confirmed, the hospital agrees to pay Gig a cancellation fee that considers administration, processing, job searching, and an attempt to rebook the canceled veterinarian. A portion of cancellation fees are allocated to canceled veterinarians.
If a shift is canceled:
30 days or longer prior to shift – 75% Refund to the hospital plus a 15% booking fee
15-29 days prior to shift – 50% Refund to the hospital plus a 15% booking fee
4-14 days prior to shift – 25% Refund to the hospital plus a 15% booking fee
0-3 days prior to shift – 0% Refund to the hospital plus a 15% booking fee
